How to use this section

Post by aluigi »

This section of the forum is experimental and has been created for allowing the users to show what they do with the techniques and information learnt on the other sections.

Basically, you learnt how to extract models and files from the other sections of the forum... and then?
Well, tell us your progresses here.

I have 2 ideas about opening topics here:
  • creating a topic with your name and using it to post your results, this is the same solution adopted in the "Collection of tools and links" section
  • creating a topic with the name of the game where you and other users will post your results for that specific game

Just few rules:
  • avoid duplicates, don't post the same content in multiple topics
  • no files to download, no models or mods to download and no links to material ripped from games
  • screenshots are ok, some services (don't remember if imgur or tinypic) allow to put small previews instead of the direct link to the big image
  • if you have made a mod it's ok to post the link to the external website that indexes the mod like ModDB or game-specific websites (like racedepartment for racing games) , better avoiding to direct linking the mod to download
  • for help with ripping models, graphics and data, please use the other sections, here it's only for your works, progresses and results
  • if you post showcase images in the other sections they will be immediately deleted as off-topic
  • no market, no buy, no sell

I'm available for any suggestions and feedback.
Again, this section is experimental so your help is appreciated.

Better to avoid rips to download here.
This section exists only as experiment, suggestions are welcome.

Exactly, rips are dangerous because they may be considered intellectual property and/or providing data to people who don't have the game.

Oh no, this forum and all my work are about providing information and tools for extracting the content (I don't even have these games).
