Rockman X Command Mission .arc file

Post by NONEDragon »

I am doing an undub of MMX Command Mission and i found the file that changes the characters voices when they do attacks, is called "commone.arc", however, some tutorials don't give a good explanation on what should i do in order to extract and replace ONLY the audio files but leave files that change text from the menus and such untouched and recompile the .arc file.
Can anyone help me out with this?

https://www.mediafire.com/file/j4h9etf3 ... M.zip/file

I put both ARC files in case someone knows what can be done with those.
Thank you so much.

I used the script, but when i extracted the files, the files are all without an extension and also some files had the same name, so it kept asking me to replace the files, but each file that asks for replacement is of a different kb size.

Yes, the filenames stored in the archive have no extensions.
Regarding the duplicates it's enough to answer 'r' when quickbms asks "Do you want to overwrite it?"

There is no data ready to be used/open in these files, I don't know if they are raw images or there is some custom headers.

Aww man. Now i'm stuck with files that i can't even use.
Oh well. Thanks for the help, though. Wish there was something more that could be done with those files. Such a shame. :|
