Hi guys I'm trying to make the edited text show up in game without messing up the entire text.
Edit: The text just randomly changes on places or doesn't show up at all.

Re: The Witness .subtitles and .mo files
I mean i can edit the files with notepad++ but the .mo files when i try to test in game the text just shifts and/or doesn't show up at places. Can i edit somehow the .mo files or do i have to create a new one for the translation and if so how? I haven't tested with .subtitles files cuz in game i have no clue how to even make the english ones show up or trigger any kind of dialogue or monologue.

There are some tools that can convert .mo files to .po files. google it.
.subtitles files are plain text. Edit them with any text editor.

Re: The Witness .subtitles and .mo files
Ok sorry for the dumb question but i use msgunfmt from poedit to convert the mo file to po then poedit to edit some text and tried to save from the program to .mo file but ingame the text doesnt show up. When i tied to use msgunfmt to convert to .mo i get this message: file "en.po" is not in GNU .mo format
Any ideas how to fix this?
