Need help editing a script for NCAA 14

Post by zerenium »

I found an older post where a user posted a script that worked to extract uniform textures in .xpr form from an .ast. I managed to find all the uniform textures in the game and can extract them using this script. I tried using this script to extract a helmet texture .ast I found but it says that some bytes weren't read.

I was hoping someone with more scripting knowledge could edit the uniform script to work with the helmet .ast I found. Hopefully I'll be able to understand what you did so I can just make my own scripts to extract other things like stadium and field textures.

Below is the script that works with the uniform .ast, the uniform .ast, and the helmet .ast that the script doesn't work with. I also linked the post I was referencing.

Thanks!

The BGFA format is supported by two different scripts:

http://aluigi.org/bms/nbajamfire.bms

The latter works with helmet.ast

Hey that worked, thank you!

EDIT: Another quick question, any idea what kind of file I attached is? I extracted a ton of .xpr files from a stadium texture .ast, but this file is the largest and clearly isn't a .xpr. I'm thinking it might be a 3D model of the stadium. Any ideas?

Here's the file:
