Mortal Kombat X (.xxx) Files

Post by darkking647 »

Can anyone please make a tool like Gildor's decompressor which outputs the uncompressed ".xxx" files ? That tool doesn't works with this game, seems like files are encrypted.

Samples below :-

Code: Select all

Please anyone try !

Nope, they are audio files, that script doesn't works with the rest of .xxx files which aren't audio.

In the case of the FSB files the solution was easy because was enough to scan the archive for a fixed string, but for any other file it's necessary to correctly parse the whole archive.
Personally I will not work on this, but for sure it would be easy for Gildor to update UE Viewer.

MK X package format is supported now. Please note: not data - just package format. So, "decompress" and "extract" are working now.
