Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to unpack those bigfiles presumably used to store all the BGMs, CS tracks and probably ambiences from the game. Of course I can provide a few cuts from select files, they're here for anyone to download.
There're 18 archives (starting with aunew_a.DAT & ending with aunew_r.DAT) in root directory of game disc, their summary size is almost 1.40 GBs but they don't seem to have any headers (not to mention typical RIFF Wave headers). I can only hope that aunew.WAD may hold some info that'll assist us in splitting those huge DATs into standalone tracks. I'm almost sure neither *.DAT nor *.WAD contain any filenames but it doesn't matter as long as we manage to successfully extract individual files themselves.
I believe in you guys and don't think that these pesky bigfiles will remain immovable obstacles in our path! Best wishes!
