[Windows XP] Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Terminal .lz files

Post by UltimateKuriboh »

The download here contains 1057 files, all with the .lz file extension, which were in a folder named "Textures". I have repeatedly tried to extract the file "img-202_all_02_kenzan-000.lz", but the two programs I tried have failed: lunzip and DSDecmp.

If it is too difficult to extract all the files, I'd appreciate if the files starting from "img-202_all_00_karlier-000.lz" through "img-202_all_03_yusei2-004.lz" were at least "solved" (which is 232 files).

The "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Terminal" game is played through an arcade machine, but through maintenance and boot-up, it appears to rely on a Windows XP OS, if that helps. Thank you for your time.

EDIT: Here's the download link (less than 1 GB, when unzipped): https://mega.nz/#!A4AVWa7K!9Q_Dy7LprHek ... FyOg9teAAU

EDIT: https://ufile.io/6243h This download link only has a file called "tex-config.bin", which was in the same folder as those .lz files. Including here just in case it helps.

Sorry, I just thought that there may have been differences in how some of the files were compressed.

Here's a sample of 4 of the files (less than 2 Mb): https://mega.nz/#!4pByGL4K!CqWBqNJy8046 ... zGHFC362tY

Posting the sample files, moreover when they are small, it's ever the best choice or there are good chances that the other users (and maybe I) will ignore the topic.

Success :)

Code: Select all

comtype lzss0
get SIZE long
get ZSIZE long
get SIZE long
savepos OFFSET
math ZSIZE - 4
get NAME basename
string NAME + .
clog NAME OFFSET ZSIZE SIZE

Ah, that lz format was already available in my script http://aluigi.org/bms/yugioh_duel.bms to automatically decompress the lz files located in the pak archives, I have updated the script just to perform that compression also on the sparse lz files provided as input to quickbms.
