Tools for Uncharted 4.

Uncharted4.exe - character tool. Outputs all textures to one folder.
Uncharted4_m.exe - all assets tool. Outputs textures to folder structure.

Usage: drop .PAK file onto the tool.

For texture dictionary packages it will export textures as DDS. Some of them will be in DX10 format.
For model packages it will export skeletons and/or models in SMD and ASCII.

Most models have multiple UV sets (only exported to ASCII).

Textures for a character may be spread across many different levels. To help get them all, used textures list is created when extracting model.

Skeletons are usually in separate packages. You need to copy-paste skeleton to the model file as it was done before in my Uncharted 1-2-3 tools.

You can also export specific textures by running: Uncharted4.exe <PAK> <filter>
For example: Uncharted4.exe world-city-dict.pak drake
Will only export textures with "drake" in their name.

New tool version with map assets support released (in 1st post)

I found that my tool already supports that. But the way i had to handle textures for maps is different, so i had to release it as separate exe.

This new version will be used absolutely the same, and it will export all models, skeletons and textures contained in the PAK file. The difference is that textures will be exported in a full folder tree. Its not needed for characters, but for maps there are some DDS files that are called the same, but in different folders, and also they may have layers, which will be saved as separate DDS files.

Is it because of the "PSARC.exe" I used? Because "Uncharted4.exe" does not export tissue files. I tried almost all the files but I still failed.

Where is the problem?

A little offtopic but are you gonna make a converter for beyond 2 souls remastered??

Yeah, i have a list of about 20 games i plan to make tools for,
i mean the list is too long and beyond 2 souls is not in that list

But Detroit IS in the list, so maybe when i get to it, the tool will also support beyond remaster
so as i said, i dont know

Experimental MAP tool. Version 1.

Usage: drop .PAK file with a map onto the tool, or run from command line

All textures will be auto-assigned to meshes. To make them work, you have to either convert textures to TGA, or do text mass replace .TGA to .DDS in ASCII because they are text files

Notes:
- only exports to ASCII, split into 100MB parts for better handling
- will make ...._shaders.txt file (for reference) with full list of all shaders & their textures used
- only works with maps, so don't try running it on characters, it will crash

i checked Jodie model and textures, and they are exactly the same as on PS3
can you name me some character that you think was actually remastered in this game?

Where am I doing wrong.

I use "UP9000-CUSA00341_00-UNCHARTED4000000-A0100-V0100" version in the beginning, but now I am using "EP9000-CUSA04529_00-UNCHARTED4000000-A0100-V0105" version. I guess it's not related to versions.

I do extract models, but I can not extract skeletons and texture files.
Do not bones need to be in the "elena-base.pak" file? Because I exported all the files worth. and in general the models appeared. But there is still no skeleton. When I extract, only the bottom file is created. (image below)

This is also valid for Texture. I even did it the way you showed me, but negative.

I exported PSARC files in 3 different ways. (totalcmd, aldostools PS3Tools_Menu, 25178-PSARC by The Effect)

I dont know about elena, but yes, skeleton is usually in "....-base.pak" file
textures are in big files with names ending with "-dict.pak"

I'm trying to extract Drake's main model but am having trouble finding him.
Would you kindly provide the steps needed to extract the correct model/textures and convert to OBJ and DDS?

Hi, I’m trying to open the pak file for Uncharted 3 Hero French outfit. I used your Naught U exe. You said to drag the pak file to the exe. But whenever I tried. The exe would crash. Is there something I doing wrong? Please help :shock:
