Well, as the title indicates, I'm interested in extracting the contents (more specifically the music) of the .dxa files found in Astro Port's games. I have one such file right here from the game Steel Strider:

^Hopefully, a script for this will work for other Astro Port games too.... but if not, I can post another DXA file as soon as I can. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

The good news is that already exists a script:
http://aluigi.org/bms/marisa_no_kagi.bms
The bad news is that the compression algorithm is probably different and the script will crash with comrpessed files.
I made a quick scan and didn't find an interesting result.

Script 0.2
Please note that the directory tree is not supported yet so select 'r' when quickbms will ask you to overwrite the files.

Wow, that was quick! Anyway, I tried the script and it indeed worked like a charm for me. Thanks a lot, aluigi!
