Spider-Man: Edge of Time (PS3)

Post by id-daemon »

Experimental tool. Works on workarounds. Some meshes will fail. If I'll be in a good mood, I can improve it and read buffer information from shaders. Right now I'm too lazy to do that. So here it is, with all skeletons, meshes, and textures.

Usage is simple: after using corrected BMS script on PKZ files, drag extracted file onto the tool.
If UVs will not work (like in this CEO example) - try running it with 2nd command line parameter (which can be any word), it will extract another UV pair.

Thanks for this! So happy we finally get a tool for this game.
I've tested a few models and have found that mainly one gives me a problem right now which is the model for Black Cat. Her hair has messy UVs and is very wrong, I tried the method of getting a new UV set (since her body mesh needed that) but that had the same issue. Is there any chance you could take a look at that?
Her model is found in 11C_SMA_030_HydroponicJungle99.pkz and/or Gallery.pkz.

I've also been trying to find any of Spider-Man's models but I can't seem to find them yet, not much of an issue though, they may just be hiding somewhere I haven't looked.

Thanks in advance!

ok try this new version. I made a change in workaround. Please also check if it didn't break anything that worked before, so I can replace the tool.

Spiderman is in packages like base2099 and baseamazing

Alt suits are stored in BaseGameplay.pkz file
Amazing and 2099 default suits are stored in Base2099.pkz and BaseAmazing.pkz files

Works great thanks! I've tested files that worked before and it doesn't seem messed up!

Thanks for info on where to find them, don't know why I didn't see them before.
