Redline - BGD format...?

Post by Xanarki »

Heya. I'm just wondering if anyone can glance at this archive for the 1999 PC game Redline. The format is BGD and after many tries, I can't find anything whatsoever about this format online.

Link to a sample (they packed the entire game into a 170MB file, but this file is a small patch they released afterwards, same format): https://www.mediafire.com/?3uk9bk7xzp00kg6

This game has never been cracked open before, so I'd like to for curiosity sake. Plus, I'm easing my way into learning about games using old master servers (great articles and information here BTW), and I wanted to start on one of my favorite games.

Thanks a ton!

Wow, quick. Thanks a ton. This will be progress for sure. Just realized bgd stands for Beyond Games Daedalus, most likely. Their own in house engine, and only game that uses it.
