After searching around the MST file from Metal Arms after uncompiling it, I found a file in it that contained a huge amount of sound data in it (about over 30 minutes of audio, some of it being in different frequencies if that's any helpful). Thing is, the RDG format isn't an audio format. snd_smpls.rdg in particular seems to be the one of the only files other than the WVS files that has audio and not scripts. Because of that, I don't even know which topic this post goes in. Anyway, I don't see any readable words in snd_smpls. All I know is that the very start of the gibberish data were voice clips from the Droids (i.e. "Sector is secure! Let's move on!").

EDIT 2: If it helps, I've included the link to the file snd_init.rdg. It's not a sound file, but it was the only other file with "snd" in its name. Perhaps that could help with converting snd_smpls to something readable.

I hate to bump this via replying, but the bump button was gone after I edited the post even though the last time I truly bumped it was over a month ago. Also, why does snd_init.rdg's data look so familiar?

In case nobody else replies, the 2 files have nothing in common and there is no head or tail information.
That means the files are just raw containers and not archives, maybe the information are in other (small) files with same name and different extension.
That snd_smpls.rdg file look just raw Nintendo adpcm data in my opinion because I see the 8 bytes pattern that I remember it's used in that particular codec.
Maybe I'm wrong since audio is not my field.
*edit*: maybe the snd_init.rdg contains the info for snd_smpls.rdg, it's lot of parsing as far as I can see.

It's very easy for extract sound and audio from the PS2 version. For other it's different.
