Disney Infinity 3.0: Gold Edition

Post by Doctor Loboto »

Hey all, with the release of the Gold Edition of Disney Infinity, comes a new format. Fortunately though, everything is much better organized. However now the BMS script no longer extracts the 'oct' and other such files from the bizarrely modified zip files. Here I have an example, it's Kylo Ren's archive in particular.

I'm also interested in getting support for the Gold Edition. The latest update added content I was trying to extract from the Wii U version, but the tools I could find were for PC only, and only partially worked on Wii U content. I'm hoping the other tools will still work after extracting the Gold edition zips.

It's not a typical zip file. It's the ones found in the filesystem.

Sorry to double post, but I'd really appreciate some method of extracting these. It's apparently been done before but I can't find any information on how to do so.

I worked on the game in the past so I guess you refer to my script, as this appears to be a recent modification or something related to the Steam version... honestly I don't know what's up with this game since on the website it's written that it's dead/closing.
Anyway I don't have the game so I'm just supposing.

Yeah, the main server is closing for the MMO aspect, but Gold Edition is being set out for each version for solo play and such, so it's still around. If you need more examples I can supply. I have all three Gold Edition versions now, and I can get whatever files would be needed. I really need the models and textures from this file specifically though.

This is the PC version's format. I don't have any other versions.

Sorry to double-post, but I have at least discovered that the texture format is apparently the same as the prior versions.

Apparently all is the same but folders are organized by proper names... All in .zip but can be open "error message" "The archive is either in unknown format or damaged" are the zip encrypted?

Using the same BMS script I visualize all content in folders! but the files from TFA= psx_*.zip files extract in *dat format. Is there any way to get the .oct or .vbuf from a dat format? can anyone help please? ;)

Hi all. I am very much a noob at all of this. I've used the BMS script to get all of the assets out of Infinity 3.0: Gold, but I'm having trouble with the next step. I intend to get the models, the textures, and ideally the rigging. However, I don't really have much of a background in any of this. I am not sure what each of the file formats are, and which ones I would need. Thx
