How to edit font file Enslaved - Odyssey to the West?

Hi all! I editing font image. But this game have unormal font, when I open it by Photoshop, it view with blur effect outline like this:
Anyone could help me setting this view clearly (without blur effect) to edit easily. Like this:
And after edit, how to make clearly font have blur effect comeback like this:

This is pretty normal! Using the shadows in textures, i think you have to edit it like that. I have done a few of this before, was the same.

If I edit it like that, it will like this:
I only have a method: redraw all char and make shadows in texures (ABCDEF..., abcdef, !@#$%,...)?
