Lego Star Wars: TFA (PC ver.) update / help

Post by donnagers »

Hi,

I'm trying to extract the new audio files that came with the update, I'm using the latest version of both the bms and the tt script. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong, so any help would be appreciated.

I have the dat files in a separate folder on my desktop, but this is all that happens when I try to extract:

- enter in folder C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals
- open input file C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals\GAME2.hdr
- enter in folder C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals
coverage file 0 0% 2017011 2138838231
- open input file C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals\GAME2.DAT
0000000000129b49 54055 0000000000000000.dat
- SCRIPT's MESSAGE:
SIZE (133956) and ZSIZE (303895) differ at offset 0x0000000000000019, contact me

- 1 files found in 0 seconds
coverage file 0 0% 54127 2138838231
coverage file -1 60% 1224207 2016983

Are you using the latest version of quickbms (0.7.6a) and script (0.9.4)?
If yes then upload both the hdr and dat files.

Hi, yes, I'm using the latest versions. I'm kinda new to this, do you want all of the dat and hdr files, like for the dlc and everything? I don't really know which file contains what.

It's enough to upload the hdr/dat files of one of those dlc that give the same problem (because game2.dat is too big).
So if you have the same error with, let's say, dlc10.dat then upload dlc10.hdr and dlc10.dat.

yeah, it's a similar error for all the files but the offset value is different. I don't really know what that means, oops.

- enter in folder C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals\others
- open input file C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals\others\DLC2.hdr
- enter in folder C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals\others
coverage file 0 0% 12367 4502323
- open input file C:\Users\Mako\Desktop\GAME AUDIO STUFF\originals\others\DLC2.DAT
000018b6 246788 00000000.dat
- SCRIPT's MESSAGE:
SIZE (8078) and ZSIZE (16375) differ at offset 0x000000f2, contact me

- 1 files found in 0 seconds
coverage file 0 5% 246860 4502323
coverage file -1 60% 7440 12339

I chose the smallest dat file and uploaded it. The forum gives me a notification that "The extension hdr is not allowed" though so I uploaded it here.

Script 0.9.5

The problem was that the script considered the field NEW_FORMAT_VER to handle the OFFSET/SIZE/ZSIZE elements while it had to use the TYPE_BOH one.
