I have all the files from Star Fox 64 3D ripped from the game and have access to all the music and voice clips, but now I'm not sure how to access things like sprites, textures and models (I specifically want access to the ship models and the intercom faces).
There are 4 main components:
* The root, which seems to have data for the levels, menus, and cutscenes.
* Audio folder, where all the song and voice files are kept, as well as something called the OinariSound.bcsar.
* Region folder, which only has one small file stating the game's region, in this case, Region_US.
* Resources folder, which is probably the one with the stuff I'm looking for, but there's over 12,000 files with odd names like 0032481e.modelbin and 018ef25c.texturegdb.
Here is the complete file set: http://www.4shared.com/zip/gT10EaGIba/SF3DFiles.html
Here is a smaller samples folder: http://www.4shared.com/zip/SJzw5Vnzce/SF3D_Samples.html
These are the extracted level resourcestreambin files aluigi helped with; they consist of DAT, ICO, DC5 and GDB files: http://www.4shared.com/zip/cJ4E_AQkce/S ... ambin.html

With this script you can extract the data from the resourcestreambin files:

I can't help with the content of the extracted files, but at least this is a starting point.

Thanks, it extracted them but I still can't figure my way around them. I added the extracted files to the first post if anyone else wants to try.

So nobody's got anything on those game models after all these years?
