Researching Wild Tangent Compression

Post by Anexenaumoon »

Hey all, recently I've gotten a hold of the Wild Tangent Game's SDK from the early 2000's and I've been interested in the sample file. I've created a simple violin duet using software and got a wav of it. I then took that wav and ran it through WildCompress, outputting a *.wwv file. I'm interested to see if anyone could help to come out with a BMS script or another executable to decode the samples. Here's a sample:

I've done some research on the file structure. I found a patent that was signed off to Wild Tangent in Late 2003, and a PDF of what i believe to be the file structure can be found here:

Any info on this would be awesome. Thanks, and enjoy your day.
