Disaster Report FAT/DAT

The game is quite old and is usually called with the following names:
  • Disaster Report
  • SOS Final Escape
  • Zettai Zetsumei Toshi
I'm making this post because the interesting thing of this script is that it has been used recently for a work-in-progress localization of the game (that's why I made the script):

From a technical point of view I think the format is interesting.
Basically in some archives you have the index table located on a file with the FAT extension and data in DAT, while in others it's all merged in a DAT file.

Anyway, it's a simple format without compression or encryption/obfuscation.
