Hey all. I discovered these model files are incredibly similar to those in Costume Quest 1 and 2, and their bones will import with those scripts, but not the models themselves. I was wondering if someone could have a look at them and see if we can tweak the script to work on these as well.

Re: Brutal Legend
Hate to double post, but the person I PM'ed to help with this hasn't been online for a while. I was hoping to have these done as a Christmas Gift to a very 'Metal' friend of mine who does some animations and has been wanting these for ages. Can anyone help at all?

Re: Brutal Legend
If you want to learn Hex2obj this format is an easy one to start with, just vertex data then face data for each submesh and no junk.
first of 8 submeshes in d01_avatar.mesh
h2o file for this submesh

Code: Select all
0xC660 2278
Vb1
48 8
0x8 1058
021200
0x0 255

Re: Brutal Legend
I can never seem to get hex2obj to export with UV's and such, even if I do get it working either way. If you can convert it fully, I'd be very grateful. Until we get a script updated for it, I can't do much.

Re: Brutal Legend
I was wondering if anyone could be persuaded to have another go at the blender script.
I've been trying to get Brütal Legend models via Hex2Obj for a week now, but I'm doing something wrong, and I've stared myself blind at the tutorial.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful.
thank you :)
