Abobe/Macromedia Shockwave CST Archives

Post by Habanero »

I'm trying to rip the assets of some old Japanese games that used Macromedia Director, and I've hit a snag. The files were initially protected, so I stripped the protection with dirOpener300-850-1-PC.exe. Now I can view the assets in Macromedia Director 2004 without any issue. The problem is that there are hundreds of files, and Director doesn't seem to have any way to export files in bulk. Saving them one-by-one is out of the question. Is there a solution?

I noticed that there's a Shockwave.bms script, but I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for since it just produces .dat files. There apparently was an Xtra script, but I couldn't get it working.

The CXT files are the original protected Cast files, and the CST are the ones stripped by dirOpener. They contain Bitmaps and some sound files (acs) if I recall. I also included a random DIR files. Any help is appreciated.
