Looking for WWise version 5073 to extract audio from WWE2K14

Post by dshay7 »

Hello everyone,

I was referred to this forum by a friend of mine. I'm a member of the Smacktalks.org forum and I regular play and mod WWE games, along with many other users there. My favorite game is WWE2K14 for the Xbox 360. Like many of the older games, it's highly moddable (with an RGH Xbox360).

I've been attempting to mod the audio (announcer intros and commentary files) by replacing them with my own custom wems. The problem is, since it's an older game, the current versions of WWise don't really work with it. I've been told by some older members of the smacktalks forum that the only version of WWise that worked in the past with WWE2K14 audio files is version 5073. Which, of course, is no longer on the audiokentic website becasue of its age.

I was wondering first of all, if anyone here would happen to have the older version of Wwise 5073. If so, I would be forever grateful if you shared it with me!
Or, if no one has it, then if anyone here possibly had some other solutions as to how to unpack the 2 sound files from the game (com.pac and sound.pac). I understand that the sounds are contained within bnk files, but I'm not sure how to get to them, identify them, and then replace them.

Any help or suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks!
