Sherlock Holmes, Inherit the Earth, IHNM, Duckman (and more) tools

Post by dwa »

Hi,

Here are some old tools I stumbled upon while doing some other research. They were mostly made for fan translations: some tools let you change the resources and do a real translation, while the other ones only dump the existing content.

They were all made by Dorian Gray from the ATP team, in the early/mid 2000s.

They're Windows EXE files, there is no source code (as far as I can say) but you'll often find a text file describing the original formats (in French though, but it's probably OK if you translate the content with DeepL or something), so this information could help some people write the reimport part when it's missing.

Maybe some of you already knew about them… but they've been uploaded more than 15 years ago, so it's maybe time for a refresh, because sometimes the web just tends to forget stuff, eh.

Modification tools:

Extraction tools:

The main resource for this is here. If some links are broken, try earlier/later dates in the Wayback Machine.

Cheers
