PS3 Dead Space: Severed DLC .geo files

So for a while now I've been trying to rip Gabe Weller's Patrol Suit helmet from Dead Space Severed, and I've hit many roadblocks but I think this is the final one however it is quite a big one.
The issue is that the 3dsmax script that is supposed to open Dead Space 2 .geo files doesn't seem to work on files from the PS3 version of the game, this is an issue because the Severed DLC for DS2 was console exclusive.


So I either need someone who could change something about the existing script so that it would work for the ps3 versions or someone who could make a new one.
Or someone who knows how to use hex2obj.

basically if someone could manage to convert this .geo file into an obj or fbx or anything that I could open in blender it would mean the world to me.
