Falcom RIFF (de/de2) - Encoding from WAV back to .de2 for audio replacement?

Post by Habanero »

Hello. I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide any insight into an old Falcom audio format. VGMStream can convert these files to WAV, but I was wondering how possible it would be to convert the audio back into de2.

A quick summary of other file formats if you're curious:

The VGMStream changelog that added this format says:
- Add/fix Falcom RIFF (.dec/de2) + looping [Xanadu Next, Gurumin (PC)]

Thanks. It's no big deal if it's not possible, I was just curious.
