Hi everyone. I Came on to the forums to ask about a game I have trouble ripping the music from due to how odd it is with no solution so far. Basically, it's for a really obscure game known as Cart Kings which was released on PS2 and PSP I used VGM Toolbox to check the PS2 ISO I had to find music then I found 1 .PAK file with no other files, and after some searching I found QuickBMS to open the PAK file using the ace_combat_4.bms script and it lead me to 4 .DAT files and I open one of the .DAT files with the same script I got more and more .DAT files and it's making me think I did something wrong here. Is there an easier way to do this?
P.S I also checked the PSP version as well to see if the file structure was different but it is nearly the same except for the addition of the files used for the PSP XMB.
Here's the .PAK file since it's too big for here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I2ZrUHhlloC16q-lUsRhYJBhFEvFK0mL/view?usp=sharing
How to extract files (In my case Music) from a game called Cart Kings on PS2/PSP
