Scooby Doo and The Spooky Swamp Audio

Post by TheLasTwelve »

Hi! I wanted to make a translation of this game but the only thing I found were problems, I need to extract the Spanish audio from the ps2 iso and transform them into .raw to replace them with the English audio files from the pc version but I have two main problems, The first one is that I don't know how to extract the audios from ps2 since I'm new to the topic, I used several scripts but I still haven't succeeded, the other problem is about the .raw files in the game folder, apparently there are certain batches of files that I can't reproduce because according to vlc I don't have the codec, I tried to extract the ps2 audios but the applications that did this did it wrong, the audios ended before the dialogue ended or they mixed between them and their speed was not correct (problem of frequency) if someone can help me thanks in advance,

In the sound folder there is arround 8.000 audio files (all in raw)
The files start with 2 key letters and continue with more letters or numbers
For example when I play a file and that file start with "SC" all the audios that start with SC cannot be played but if one file start with "Bo" for example and I can play it all the audios that start with Bo, I hope it is understood

No playable:

Playable:

Use MFAudio to play or convert those unknown sounds. If required, set number of channels to 1 and frequency (~1/duration).
Look in files with hex editor and you'll understand, why some files are played, and others are not, so you can easily recognize them.

Hello! Thx for reply,

I already tried that application and others before and they did not work, I think I did not comment correctly, the problem of the ps2 audios is the one that worries me the least, what I still cannot decipher is the codec used in the PC audios, excuse the inconvenience
