Dinosaur Adventure 3D's .rsc

Post by doggedlily »

Hi. I'd like to look at this game's files - images, audio, videos, etc.. An example file's attach below. QuickBMS's Parse Exe script extracted mostly a bunch of 1 kb files, which aren't exactly useful to me.

Anyway, I'd appreciate further help.

It's 4.01 according to some .inis, straight off the disc. I'm not aware of any patches, if that's what you mean.

Thanks for pointing me to that script - it apparently extract 69% of the files, but there's still a lot of 1 kb files I dunno what to do with. Audacity can import the raw data from the .ani files but there's a ton of static. Still, it's a great start, and way more success than what I managed on my own.

Additionally, I edited the script and removed the "math OFFSET + 0x10" as mentioned here and that apparently extracted...almost everything? 99%, but...not seeing much difference, honestly. The files are mostly .nfc, .dat, .sdb, and .pal if that helps any. Still mostly 1 kb.
