star wars battlefront 2015 edit initfs_Win32 & layout.toc ?

hi, does anyone know if the initfs_win32 and layout.toc can be edited?

i've tried using a hex editor but the game crashes on loading.

i've seen other games like fifa had someone edit the initfs_win32 file.

i take it the files are encrypted?
