Extracting GatAmped .kar file?

Hi, I've try to look for the extractor for .Kar file from the game Getamped

I've seen all other game from the developer (Cyberstep) have the extract script with bms. but not this one which actually oldest.

due to my interest as I've seen a different structure between the game, now I'm looking for Getamped and want to see the file of the game.

I've try all the bms script. onigiri, Cosmic Break and Getamped2 and none of them working with this files. So I decide to ask for the help here.

so far as i try none of them working, even with different password which i belive it would work

Hi Aluigi, I actually have an answer for the topic. Apparently we can extract the files using a karExtractor with MD5 encryption support.
I have the file and a working version for this extractor, but it only works upon a certain version of the game (2014). Any version that is updated after this most likely use a newer format such as GZip but I haven't been able to update it as I'm not as familiar with Java myself.

I've seen posts about it with your replies going back to 2012, if you are still interested we can talk through Discord (Night Wolf#8602).

The good thing is the passwords are still the same, you can actually run the client and read the hex to find the variables all over it. They were stupid enough to call them 'RESOURCE_KAR_PW' and write it in plain text.

That's very sad to hear, I was hoping we could create something for quickBMS
Let me know if you ever change your mind, it's not like I've been making too much progress on my own.

Why not just uploading that software for anyone who may be interested in it?

(maybe it's already public, I'm not in the community of this game so I don't know)
