Dark Souls 2 PS3 Is there a way to unpack .BND files?

I'd like to experiment with the files from the Beta Network test and retail but I believe I tried most available tools and I can't extract the .BND files. I noticed that replacing the file flshader.bnd on retail with the one from the beta net test makes the armors look shinier like they did in beta but most of the game looks like the textures didn't load (all yellow) except for a few places like the Firekeeper's bonfire which looks normal.
