Hello to all!
I'm trying to replace some sounds in the first Crysis, I started with the nanosuit powerjump one, I state that I couldn't get FMOD Designer 1.07.23 to work so I preferred fsbext with wich I extracted and repacked successfully the interface_suit.fsb file, using -A parameter, since extracts it in a more common wav format,
But now comes the problem:
Replacing the interested file with a custom one created with Audacity using the same identical codec settings, verified on metadata2go.com website (results pages attached to the thread) the sound ingame is not working, while replacing it with another extracted and compatible one, like promotion.wav (drumroll) works... it sounds funny but I prefer Crysis 2 / Remastered jumping sound I attached audio files as well
Does anybody know why my sound is not working?
Thanks to all

Re: Trying to replace a sound in Crysis
Nevermind I finally did it!
I've extracted the fsb file without the -A parameter, Installed XBOX APCM codec, then I converted my wav with sndrec32.exe (winXP sound recording sw) saving with the same parameter as working files, wich are viewable in the same way,
yeah!
