[Solved] Need Help Extracting Disney Bolt PC HOG Files

Post by lordchrome »

I'm trying to view models, maps, etc for this version of Bolt but can't extract these files. Avalanche Software also uses the hog format for Chicken Little and Tak: The Great Juju Challenge. So maybe this one can be solved to.

Can anyone help me with this?

Would seriously appreciate it if someone was able to extract these for me.

Here's the url for these selected files. https://mega.nz/file/z0lAGY7L#OyHSgp8hLyflCNGOMqKswhe7U085LfAomFIls9azOY8

Is this topic a duplicate of viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14362 ?

Oh no this one is different. I didn't think about putting solved in the title after figuring it out and thought it would just vanish away. I'm going to edit the title and put solved and explain how I figured it out. Sorry about that.

I figured out how to extract the hog files on pc using Shokoniraya's code that updates the code for 25 to life and usable for bolt found on this post I made for the PS3 version of bolt viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14362

It works for the ps2 version of bolt but I deleted one line to see what would happen after several minutes of editing it. The line causing the issue was line 69 put DECOMPRESSED_FILE_SIZE long. After that doing that, it worked. So no one has to work on this. Thanks for the help. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to view .oct models.
