So, thought these would be normal pngs, but apparently it isnt, and i cant open them at all

here is Noesis python script to open your png samples:
*script updated Oct 10, 2020*
tex_HotWheelsBeatThat_png_tga.zip

supports dxt1, dxt3, rgba4444, top level mip only.

How exactly would you open the image with the script, i am kind of a noob with python and scripts in general

download Noesis from here and extract it somewhere:

download the script attached to my post and extract it to:
noesisvxxxx\plugins\python folder

Thanks, it seems that some pngs are DXT1, and cant be opened, As well as a most tgas
This games textures are weird lol

and trying to use a normal png crashes the game

game modding is not my area but they are not pngs, they are dxt1,
dxt3 and rgba444 data with custom header and png extension. :)

i haven't made any progress on reimporting it, it just keeps crashing and i haven't found a way to convert my png to dxt3 data with the custom header
