Sea of Thieves 3D Models

Post by JPRAS96 »

Hi there,

Has anyone been able to sucessfully rip an editable 3D model from Sea of Thieves?
I've been able to go as far as getting the cooked .uasset files with quickbms, and I've been able to use UModel to browse the game's .pak files, but I haven't been able to get past that. Attempting to export from UModel with the proper AES key (0x37A0BC3DC2E01D9EB4923CA266A5701F56A4802347F07927FC3FC25C93B31B50) does not seem to work. Unreal doesn't recognize the .uassets inside a new project either (most likely due to the fact they're serialized) and trying to export the assets obtained with quickbms through UModel also results in an error.

Any help or advice would be greatly appriciated. Cheers

Check the Umodel forum...Umodel now supports the game but more work is needed..

Thank you!

I had indeed found it shortly after posting this. I've also been able to decompile a few NPC character models, but not a whole lot.

Yeah give it a few days, there are some updates to the tool coming up as per Gildor. he is quite pro-active when it comes to adding support :-)
