Ratatouille Xbox 360 .ho file

Post by Penney19 »

Hello, I am part of a community on discord that is currently researching the .ho format, and we need some help at least getting the files out of them. If any help creating a script to extract them can be made it would be greatly appreciated! :) :)

Here is a link to a ho file from the Xbox 360 game, Ratatouille, made by Heavy Iron studios. https://drive.google.com/file/d/18HS2AU ... sp=sharing

Thanks if you can help! :D

Sort of ISO-like format without filenames apparently.
Some magics for anyone interesting in taking a look at it: "HEB\x1a", "XENON", "MAST", "SECT".

But the .ho files do have file names! This screenshot attached is from truth or square, but it's the same in Ratatouille. They have names and padding. This ho format is very similar to Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom's HIP/HOP files from what I've researched, and are even made by the same company, Heavy Iron Studios.

The screenshot here shows file names.

I do hope some help can be made with these! :D

This KNE1.ho that I originally posted for Ratatouille has file names too! :)
So I do wonder since it has file names, if a QuickBMS script can be made to extract these. I do want to mention too, this .ho format is very similar to "Spongebob SquarPants: Battle for Bikini Bottom's" .HIP and .HOP files. These .ho files even are made by the same developers.

I do hope I don't sound pushy, but will anyone help with this? In the screenshots I have found file names. This format is like Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom's *.HIP and *.HOP files. It would also help the research community I am part of. :)

Thanks if anyone can help me with these .ho files! :) :) :)
