Syphon Filter Music Extraction (PS1)

Post by leop2p »

Hi there!!!

Could you please help me to extract the music files from that game. I think the music are contained inside the 'FOG' folder, because there's a two versions of almost each file: that means maybe the ambient theme and the alert one. I extracted 'INGAME.XA' by 'Cube Media Player' and it contains only the SFX and dialogs used in game.

Thanks!!!

If possible please upload only one file and maybe the list of files (screenshot or directory tree).
It's more easy for the other users than downloading a BIN/CUE image...

Just one file would be enough for the users who want to analyze it.

I have uploaded the whole folder. You could check and download needed file which may contain the music by your opinion.

In my opinion the music may be in the STR files but honestly I don't know what may be the format and codec.

Maybe you know what apps could be used? Because "Cube Media Player" playing the scratch sounds when I opening those STR files in it. "MF Audio" the same. "Raviolli Game Tools" the same. Maybe you know what value could I use in "MF Audio": interleave or an offset?
