Yeah so, I've recently opened this .iso file for the PS2 game Ghost Recon 2001 with the program 7-zip, and have came across 2 disc image files (.img) named GR.img and MENU.img.
Now, I have reason to believe that these .img files have sfx/bgm/amb/streams sound files stored within them, but I can't seem to properly open/extract those said .img files no matter what program I use, be it 7-Zip or WinISO.
And whenever I try to open/extract the .img files, I get the error message: "Can't open "filename". Unsupported or corrupted file" (or you know, something like that)
Any suggested actions or tips you could give me about this issue?
Here's a link for a folder containing the said .img files, along with other things:

I really need your full support and help here, very much.

the ghost_recon_jungle.bms script here extracted your menu.img sample successfully:

didn't download the gr.img though, give it a try on that one.

Thank you very much for your help. That bms script worked pretty well, although a bit too well if I might add. There's ton's and ton's of files, and I'm not sure which one's are the music files I'm looking for exactly.
Could you help me out some? I'll be posting a link from my google drive soon enough. However, it mat take a while, as I just now started to upload the folder containing the mass collection of files.
I'm going as fast as I can!

Alright then, finally have the folder with files uploaded. Here be the link:

Side note: During the upload process to my google drive, at least 10 files failed to upload, though I'm pretty sure they weren't of any value to me.

"music.tm" contains music, sound effects and voice are in *.ss files, you can verify it with PSound.

Downloaded PSound, perfectly extracted that .TM file, and had converted all music files to wav perfectly well. You've been a lot of good help to me and deserve all the respect. I appreciate that very much, thank you.
Side note: for the extracted music files I was interested in, and converted to wav. For some reason, when I played those files through windows media player, by double clicking on them, they sounded differently than they did in-game for Ghost Recon 2001 for the PS2.
Unless of course, that's how those music files normally sound like, when playing said PS2 game on any TV screen. I mean, the music files played out just fine really, but it just seemed to be at a different tempo, or something. I not sure it's that big of a deal really.

It's because most of the time, PSound couldn't detect it's sample rate automatically. You have to set it manually in Options -> Configure -> Sample Rate. However, it will affect other of the song/sound too as it was applied globally.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that method, along with trying hard not to affect the music file. I appreciate your help here.
