That's my issue too. I have a friend with the files ready to go as well, but no solid answer on how to figure out the pkg. Also, I understand copyright and all, but I asked two people in that list above and one just gave a cryptic bs answer and the other claimed to not know what I was talking about, which I find to be odd considering the one claims they ripped the files themselves.

I don't know, a simple "I can't share for now" instead of excuses would suffice better.

That all said, when the game is finally figured out, would someone dm me? I know I just joined but I'm actually interested in organizing the model locations to make it easier to find what you want as this game is gonna have a LOT of files to go through.

I went ahead and made an account to express that we do need to exercise some patience. True, some people have figured it out and aren't willing to share JUST YET, but no doubt pestering them and/or starting up issues with them will become counter-productive. Hopefully with enough feedback and if there is a diverse enough crowd maybe they will, if not then we've gotta count on the people that are willing to put the models out there on deviantart or other sharing sites.

Progamer, I'm assuming you're ProGamer000900. I've appreciated your model uploads to deviantart, and I'm glad we have someone like you willing to go the extra mile to get those models uploaded as there ARE lots of good ones on your page. However...
When the time comes around I hope you can work with people to make sure they're being released 'properly', that means rigs and especially the texture files (in unconverted TGA) and making sure they're all working when you export them as .xps .ascii from Blende. Myself and a few others have downloaded models from your page either incomplete, missing rigs or textures and have either had a bland response to try and fix the issue or have gotten blocked and thus we've had to look elsewhere. Please work with us, we're all in this together to get more content out there for everyone to enjoy o7

Thank you very much it makes me happy it's true sometimes there is a texture that I can't find When I have the time I look for the textures that are missing then I put it back in download I will take the time to make the models then to convert also in TGA the problem sometimes I don't have time to repair the bones 'Cause I'm with other models

Just for information I have a friend who asked for the files or other people who got insulted

Where people have fun saying hello every time

I don't think they will share the files

If I ever have the files I could extract the models and put them to download for everyone And I will not fail to convert the textures to TGA I also check that there is no lack of texture and check the bones if I have time ;)

Any vague exposition as to where you got the full PKG would be great. :P That said, It seems the actual key for the demo has disappeared somewhere? The one posted on page 1 seems to be incorrect for the demo PKG I have here.

Edit: Oh, right. When they said default, I still didn't expect 32 0's. Time to remember how to use quickBMS I guess, now that I have access to the PAKs.

I'm also interested in ripping models from the full game, and I currently have all the files ready to go. The only thing I'm missing is the PKG decryption key.
I'm at a loss to know who to ask, so if anybody here has either the key or decrypted PAK files but is unwilling to share them publicly, I would appreciate a PM.

Is any kind person here able to point me in the right direction to get or dump the pkg files?

Really want to take a look at how this game works.

I see Progamer uploaded the models onto his page. Unfortunately some of them already have a number of texture problems and aren't exported properly, like I mentioned before. Progamer if you're reading this see if you can get with someone that might be able to help you.

His hair models also have a big problem of double faces. Other than that characters are pretty clean.

Yet you answer zero questions? :P

You have the full files, right? Where/How did you get them? And how about the texture export problems? Can you help at all?

It's not so much a problem with the textures themselves. They're there in your zip folder. It's a problem with the materials AND the mesh when you export into XPS format, they're not keeping their assigned textures and in fact don't even have the correct folder associated with them. The textures can be assigned manually, which is all fine and dandy for the knowledgeable blender user, but when you are advertising a model for Xnalara/XPS that means there are going to be people using Xnalara that want to use the model but can not due to these exporting errors.
Not everyone is going to be using these for Blender rendering, so telling people to download plugins is only helping half of the problem. The other half is on your end. So far the FBX models I've used I haven't run into any problems but there are a lot of models to go through that you've posted so you'll have to watch your comments to find out.

I'm attaching what I see with your Tifa model as an example. The dark mesh is AFTER I've assigned a very basic shader and the required texture. You can see the problem on all the meshes in Material Preview. I am unaware of how to fix this problem so hopefully someone here that is more knowledgeable can help you, or you can start asking someone. Otherwise your comment thread on Deviantart is gonna blow up because this is a repeated issue. I'm also attaching an image of what button to click to reply.
