Hi mate, I downloaded your updated chunklzx.bms files but when I try to extract the FIFA 20 game files of the Switch version I get following error:
the uncompressed data (-1) is bigger than the allocated buffer (262144)
Last script line before the error or that produced the error:
82 clog NAME OFFSET CHUNK_ZSIZE CHUNK_SIZE
Could you please help me?

Re: Help with chunoodl
It's weird because it's oodle compressed data but probably it's necessary a more recent version of the library currently used in quickbms.
So the script is perfect, not sure if a future version of quickbms may solve the problem.

So to understand it correctly: normally it should work but it doesn't? There is no way at the moment to extract the files?

Exactly, it's just oodle but the library returns an error.
No alternative ready-to-use ways at the moment.

Okay, these are bad news but thanks for trying. Do you think in future there is a possibility that you'll find a way?

Re: Help with chunoodl
It depends by the availability of new versions of the oodle library for 32bit systems.

Hi. Is that oodle compression a part of third-party program?

The oodle library is not publically downloadable but it's available as dll in various games, for example Warframe as 64bit only.

Quickbms currently uses Oodle 2.7.3
The latest version of Oodle is 2.8.2:

This is because oodle requires an exact uncompressed size so this line simply won't work for any chunks less than CHUNK_SIZE bytes:
Code: Select all
clog NAME OFFSET CHUNK_ZSIZE CHUNK_SIZE
