Mabinogi Heroes extraction

I'm gonna be honest, I'm completely new to this stuff. I was just wondering, is there any way of figuring out which file I should extract from Mabinogi Heroes (vindictus)? I have watched the ''how to use QuickBMS to extract & unpack game files! (tutorial) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZONf5fXEOg). What I'm curious about is, how do I know which file I want to extract? I think it was kind of (?) explained in the video, but I did not understand.

What file you attempt to extract files from varies from game to game and it depends on the resource you're trying to get to. For example if the game were using the unreal engine and you wanted to get textures or edit them you'd look at the Cooked folder for the game and usually use something like Gildor's tool. If you're after the String Data to translate the game it might be in .ini files (possibly encrypted) or in a propriety format, in that case you'd start with looking at uncommon extensions and checking the hex like in that video to see if there is a script to see what is inside of it so you know if it has what you want.
