DiP Interactive .RES

Post by Akudaijin »

Hello again. Continuing my research onto old Russian games I have two more kids games, one called "Кот Леопольд. Догонялки" ("Leopold the Cat") and another one called "Ну, погоди! Выпуск 4. Догонялки" ("Well, Just You Wait!") developed by a different company DiP Interactive, they use the same .res format, but they packed all the resources in one single file base.res. Would anyone look into this? Here's the samples for Leopold the Cat game and the 4th installment of Well, Just You Wait! Once again my main goal is to get the music out of those if possible.

You should set the files as shared with everyone.

Oh, my bad. When I posted them initially they were shared, not sure why the permissions got changed. Feel free to try now!

Unfortunately it's one of those messy formats with meaningless data.
Nothing interesting and ready-to-use to extract from them.

Ah... that's unfortunate. I have seen at least OggS header in there, but that was about it. Alright, thanks regardless, I'll see what I can do with them...
