I tried removing 2-3 bytes 0x00. But game will crash on Ryzen logo.

Is there any page where I can read about .data file structure? Is this documented or not

Can confirm, the @Lazy_Cat_2k3 data import tool doesn't work. Output is corrupted even with deleting last 00 bytes. FORGE repack script works fine tho. Waiting for update

I tried it and it only worked the first time I started the game. Then the game crashed on launch.

I got a report that not importing 5988.data (subtitles) may help.

It is strange that your game did not crash the first time tho.

Edit: can confirm that game may not load with 5988.data file, I will play without subtitles until someone finds a way to fix this

i ask you for help for AC Valhalla, i found this script to convert texts from russian to english and it works well.

After update 1.0.4, these data files no longer work. Do you have an updated version to unlock English in patch 1.0.4? At least UI.

i see new file in main folder DataPC_extra_patch_01.forge

Yes, I checked it as well. I can't find the data files responsible for UI localization and subtitles.

I hope someone succeeds, even me like you after the update 1.04 I can no longer convert texts. :roll:
actually i was trying to convert it to italian, but i didn't find anything ...
I hope we gets something at least in English

Hopefully, though Ubisoft is monitoring the situation and hampers the process as much as they can. They delete posts, related to this, on their official forums and probably due to this changed the structure of the forge files. Not only they locked English in my country (it's impossible to buy a version with English UI and subtitles here, regardless of whether you want it or not), but they also try hard to make it difficult for the community to do it themselves. What an awful and disrespectful approach.

anyone know how to import the extracted 0-LocalizationPackage_Russian_Subtitles.Localization_Package back into the data files properly??
after using the tool(Ubisoft_DATA_Tool_Valhalla.zip) the file headers are gone for example causing the game to crash. so far the only working files were shared by some anonymous person with no info on what they did to fix. i even tested the tool using the EN files from the EnRuSwitch.rar pack by just extracting and importing(in theory after re-importing the file should be same size with same header etc, but its not), and it fails.

thanks to all for making the tools and for any additional help!

The game wouldn't launch at first with your updated file. However, extracting and reimporting data files from it did work.

11887.data - UI
11889.data - Subtitles

I had a similar issue in patch 1.0.2 With switched subtitles, the game often refused to start and crashed at launch. I had to reimport the files (into a clean backup of DataPC_patch_01.forge) every time before each new launch and hope it would launch (it often wouldn't). However, if you import only English UI, the game is stable and can be run without issues. This is good enough for me; I can live without subtitles. Thanks again, artack!

for crash at launch need to replace splashscreen (i dont know why its works :? )

finally i found Ru-IT by cousty discord, but it crashes on the loading screen.
can you give it a look and if you can send me the modified forge?
