aluigi, thanks for the fix, new beta works fine with all batch scripts I had for tests. As for suggestion with using txt files for filters, I'm not sure there will not be certain misunderstandings - like, you expect -F "*.txt" to work with all txt files in the folder (as input for script), but they will be loaded as filters instead(?)

It simply tries to load the specified file if it ends with a .txt extension, if it doesn't exist it will consider it a string, so:
-F "{}.txt" tries to load {}.txt which doesn't exist and will use it as a string
-F file.txt tries to load it as a file and use its line-by-line content as filter, if it doesn't exist "file.txt" is the filter string
-F asdf.asdf is a string

It sounds good. But what about cases like -F "file.txt; file2.txt", when you point to particular input files (not lists with filters). I suppose if it will be more than 1 argument for -F, it can be considered as string (i.e. input) regardless of extension, right?

In that case quickbms will try to open the file "file.txt; file2.txt", which doesn't exists, and so uses it as a string.
It's just an fopen() so it doesn't support wildcards or multiple files when loading -F as a file.
I can definitely avoid the loading operation if there are characters like { * , and ; even if it doesn't make any difference in term of performances.

Hai,why when i try compression scanner tool.when try in Linux the output is not work properly.infact the output not same like windows output (erroring).because when try in oodle on Linux .the oodle cant unpack or extract any data just get some null dat but with larger size

Because oodle is a closed-source dll on Windows.
On non-Windows systems quickbms uses an open source implementation which is very limited and only covers few algorithms (like kraken).
Probably there are some games that bundle a shared oodle library for x86 or x64 Linux, I don't know.

quickbms is a 32bit application, therefore the maximum memory it can use is about 3Gb or less.
It's very rare but it happened recently that a file in a game (this post viewtopic.php?p=68241#p68241) was too big to be decompressed.
I think that also in your case it may be the same problem.

When running quickbms_4gb_files.exe I'm getting the following error:
Error: memory allocation problem
Not enough memory resources are avaliable to process this command.
I'm on windows 10 (21H2 and I have 32gb of ram (26gb free at time of running) so I shouldn't be running out of memory....
If I run the normal quickbms.exe I get a different error:

I can only suggest to use some self-made workaround and process large files manually in blocks. Implementing this on lower level may bring so much potential issues.

aluigi, could please check this topic when you have time. Apparently there is an issue with CRC functions in latest beta. You can find sample archives in MSQ's post there and also your modified script for them.
