What is the problem?
I've been exporting this way before. (Perhaps the names of the folders may be different.) I can't even Dump. because it is already exporting 0 thing. ( I didn't mark Ebx, resources, chunks. The dick doesn't change. )
After the update to the game I wanted to export Obi-wan. But I can't.

Could it be due to the program you created? For example, due to different symbols between countries. ( I live in Turkey. and Pc's language.) This problem has happened to me many times before. I am not sure. (Previously, I exported with the old version of exports.)
Or a more simple explanation.

UFBE is not working with SWBF2 anymore after recent updates.

Damn it. This is bad news, It was a big disappointment for me.
Do you have a chance to update this tool? (soon or later) I'd really like this to happen.

But I've seen Obi-Wan's SMD files in your files. This is really interesting. Another update after the Obi/GG Update?

BFV and SWBF2 have same format now and there is a new script that works for both, more info is here: http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=19074
Since you already are a member there I am surprised you haven't found the info already, everything you need is posted in more than one topic/thread.

Anthem seems to be using a different format as well. Python script is not working. Anyone working on it perhaps or willing to take a look?

I'm not well versed in all of the this but I used the beta version DragonUnPACKer v5.7.0 and scanned with HyperRipper which dumps some .669 files. Not sure where to go from there, DragonUnPacker has that format classified under "audio" in the ripper settings but I haven't been able to play any of them, probably modified, I don't know.

Haven't been able to get anywhere with Frosty Tool Suite as AnthemDemo is not supported, nor have I been able to succesfully use quickbms with the Frostbite script, UFBE (Universal Frostbite Extractor), or swbf2_bfv_dumper. The public demo was just made available January 25th though.

Anthem doesn't a new format for the archives afaik.
Just they got rid of the .CAT files.
Now what is different is the EBX format. Apparently that is completely different.
Galaxyman2015 is considering a read-only profile for Frosty Editor once the game comes out but idk.

Tool for DAI individual morphs.

It will allow you to extract about 400+ morphs for each type of face.
All kind of face parameters, like eyes/ears/nose size/position etc etc will be there.
Works same as DAI morph tool, just instead of .morphresource, 3rd parameter is .morphtarget resource. For example:

Fb_DAI_morphtarget.exe mt_basa_hf.meshset hf_skeleton.ebx humanfemaletargets.MorphTargetsResource

Many morphs require bone moving (which changes the mesh shape). To do this, you have to apply the small _ani.smd file to the morphed mesh.

There is this one here, but I can't get it to work since I suck at any of these type of exporters, even python which I like.

Okay so Anthem does seem to have slightly distorted faces. They use faceposers.
I can send over some things to maybe help look into extracting them.
Anyone could do it now seeing as Frosty Editor has a read only profile for the game now.

EDIT: I'm not quite sure how the system works here.
There's a couple file types here that seem interesting.
"DynamicMorphHeadData" "PcaCompomentGeometry" "DefaultGeometryModifier"

There is this tool for Frostbite Engine games, sadly Anthem is broken with its latest update.

The BF1 mesh tools is giving this error when I try to extract any static mesh

Unhandled Exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at FB_faceposer.FB_faceposer.Main(String[] args)

Anyone know a solution to this?

Battlefield 2042 tool.

Image

Dumping the game

1. Change paths in the .INI to your folders. Set parameter on the 3rd line to only dump "ebx" "res" or "chunks". If no parameter (empty line), it will dump them all.
2. Place oo2core_8_win64.dll from the game to the same folder
3. Drag any .TOC file onto toc2042.exe, and it will extract everything that was listed in that file

Converting models

bf2042_mesh.exe <meshset>
or
bf2042_mesh.exe <meshset> <skeleton>

Tool will find the needed chunk automatically in the same folder, "chunks" subfolder, or folder structure created by dumper.
If no skeleton name provided, tool will ask for default _soldierskeleton.ebx skeleton (which you can find in globals.toc)

Mesh tools for Need For Speed:
- The run (2011)
- Rivals (2013)
- Need For Speed (2016)
- Payback (2017)
- Edge (2018)

All of them work as my usual frostbite model tools.
