Well I've gone through them with TextureFinder, but nothing really sticks out. I can tell it's in the .bld file but I can't figure out what will get it to display properly. I'm a little worried we might have to find someone to put together a specialized extractor for this format...

well, looks like i finally figured something out from the xbox version. Textures are in DXT1 & DXT5, and swizzled with usual xbox algo

on the right is probably specular map or something

Oh, what program did you use for that? I can probably work it out that way.

Oh, I think I found the proper model for the 'updated' Kaos as well. The other ones were for vehicles.

What do you use to split level.bld file into individual .dat files? Because I'm doing this manually now.

Oh, uh, the level.bld won't split, just the base archives. I just realized I've just been looking at a later game's files, actually. Ignore that for now I guess.

If you have time, this is the pack of the ones which will extract into ".dat" files. I believe it has the relatively simple model I'm looking for in it. Just a 'talking head' thing. I included two references just in case. Mind you these are from the PS3 version, the only version I could find. Anyway, if I'm able to get these specific models I should be set from here on out...

No problem, just let me know when you have time. No rush.

The only other thing I can think of now is the one I've been having a lot of trouble identifying. I'm needing the model of the Sheep Mage, but I can't for the life of me figure out which of these files would have his humanoid model. When you get a chance from the others, this is the final one I need.

Thanks for the help so far! Really appreciate it! I hope we can figure out the others too. The second version of Kaos and the uh...talking head of Darkness are my primary concerns.
