Translation Method (DeepL Translated):
I uploaded the source and author designation to the 2-language tutorial, which is available at the toolkit link below!

0.) It is very important that the programs are on a path that does not contain special characters, otherwise it will not work. It is easiest to have everything indirectly on the C drive.

1.) Unpack the Watch Dogs Legion\data_win64\patch.fat and *.dat files with the UnpackLegion tool. Just copy the UnpackLegion.exe and filelist files to the dat \ fat and drag them onto it. It will unpack it into a folder.

2.) Then locate the Watch Dogs Legion\data\win64\patch\languages\languages\main_english.loc file.

3.) To make the loc file readable and editable, use watch_dogs_loc.exe. Just drag the loc file onto the .exe. This will create an xml file. It is large (about 25-30m characters), so use notepad++ to edit it. It is worth chopping. It is very important that the text does not contain "quotes" and >< special characters should be handled with care. Anything that breaks the xml structure will affect the ability to import it afterwards. Encoding is also important. I copied the exported text into an example xml.

If it doesn't work: Note that it works with the Turkish translation, but then the quotes and special characters had to be removed from the xml. But, if with English, if it doesn't work, then option B: use .loc export .txt. That will create a txt file. Include the appropriate ID and text. The order is the same as for the xml. Simply grab a sample XML and add it by hand. Copy and paste the IDs. As you can see both IDs are the same in the XML. And the text next to it. According to the sample. If you don't want to do much work, use the Turkish translation and just replace the text. You can do this with some external programs (regex, eg: MemoQ). Of course you can also do it manually.

4.) Convert the edited xml to .loc. Use the loctool repack program and just drag the edited xml file onto the DRAG&DROP_XML_ON_ME.bat file.

5.) Import the new loc file back into the patch.fat \ .dat files. You can do this with the PackLegion program or with the Mod Manager program called ManageLegion. I used the Mod Manager. Since I am not skilled in mod making myself, I used the recently released Turkish translation.I copied the TR.zip file into the original ManageLegion (created the Mods folder), then opened the zip with winRAR to find the Turkish . loc file and replaced it (just dragged it in) with the Hungarian .loc file I made (I chose storage in the settings), I don't know if this is necessary, as I said I'm a beginner, it worked for SnowRunner and it works here too.

6.) After creating the zip file, launch ManageLegion.exe, select the mod in the languages tab on the left and press install, then Launch. Done!

7.) I will upload the tools used and 1-2 sample files in one go to my Google Drive for easy access:

Many thanks to the people mentioned above for making these programs. I'm very sorry that some people have deliberately held them back and sold them for money. This is not the way to go. We respect the programmers and modders because they put in a lot of work to help us!

Please help each other!
Thanks again to them!

In theory, yes. I have not tested it in practice for WD 1-2.

Thanks for the tutorial! However, it looks like your Google Drive isn't online anymore. Could you perhaps reupload it?
