It seems that your script still don't work when its extracting from the Japanese version.
I still get this error.

No idea. Maybe it wants some additional padding for calculating the base offset of the package... anyway you extracted one game so that's fine.

I did a small change to the script but I guess the result is the same ("math PCK_OFF x 0x800").
If it still doesn't work you can try increasing that 0x800 to 0x1000 or similar.
