As Master21 wrote, the app has to be in a path with no spaces. I'll fix it in the next version but, for now, that is the solution.

Oh, I didn't understand that the app itself had to be in a path with no spaces.
It's working now, thanks!

EDIT: Looks like I spoke too soon, it's getting stuck on extracting GS1/etc/frame02u.unity3d.

Other guy told me that his antivirus detected "plugins\UnityEX.exe" as a threat and had problems until he excluded it from analysis... Maybe that is the problem.

My only antivirus is the one built into Win10, and it did never detect UnityEX.exe as a threat.
Also, the program managed to extract other .unity3d files before getting stuck on that one, so I just don't understand what is not working properly here...

EDIT: Looks like a reboot fixed the issue. Weird, but whatever: looks like it's working now!

No, sorry, you can't do that with my app. It only supports text and images. I might add sounds and voices to it in the future, but at the moment it's not my priority.


Aww shucks. Hopefully you'll consider adding it eventually, as i think that would make the localisation more complete with it? But i still think you did gods work by making a simple tool to edit text. No problems with it so far.

Hey, it's me again.
Do you have any idea how to fix this image problem? The game seems to have hidden masks for several images such as this, the main menu logo of the game, shout images, etc...

There is .sprite files inside the .unity3d files that seem to be those "masks". I'm going to investigate how to edit them.

Kaplas, a little ot. I'm trying your tool with The Missing but, as far I edit anything else instead of main menu, the framework gives an error trying to export the file after saving the modifications.

Better Explanation: i can make just as couple of edits, after that the Export won't work anymore.

If you drag&drop a game file, the app will create the decrypted version with ".decrypted" extension.
If you drag&drop a ".decrypted" file, the app will encrypt it.

Hey! Does anybody know if I am able to edit the letters approach? I am making a Russian localization and letters stand too far from each other, which makes them not to fit in the buttons' sprite, and simply it is not comfortable to read the text.
P.S: Can I edit the font and its size?

P.P.S: Solved this. Unfortunately for cyrillic, you have to modify Assembly C# to include the respective alphabets.
