No, it doesn't work like that.

1. Are these modified files on the same folder as you extracted them?
2. Have you kept only the files that you have modified and deleted everything else in that folder?
3. Are these modified files bigger or smaller than what the archive in question can handle?

My current case, I extracted the pack files, then put it that it gave me in a single place, then I modify it all and I try to repack everything with the file I modified, Is not like that?

Of course. You just had problems with repacking the file in the first place.

I try to use an example.

Extraction:
- run quickbms.exe
- select getamped2.bms
- select c:\path\EXAMPLE.KXR
- select c:\path\new_folder

Edit your files, BUT DO NOT MOVE THEM AND DO NOT MAKE THEM BIGGER (size must be same or smaller than original).

Reimporting:
- run reimport.bat
- select getamped2.bms
- select c:\path\EXAMPLE.KXR
- select c:\path\new_folder

Yes, extraction and reimporting are THE SAME, the only difference is using reimport.bat instead of quickbms.exe
